Celebrating Yule/Christmas Late

Ok so here is the situation. My family Celebrates Christmas and just last night was Yule but unfortunately I have to celebrate late with my boyfriend. My family wants him to celebrate with us because we feel he is already part of the family, where his family is the complete opposite. Even though we have been dating for 10 months they feel its too soon for me to be invited to family gatherings, even though I was invited to thanksgiving with them.

I don't know the whole story of what happened, but the way he portrayed it to be was very hurtful and as you can imagine I got upset. So after fuming with anger and then later crying about it, I figured ok fine if his parents want to be that way then I will celebrate with my boyfriend later. So I am coming up with ideas on how to celebrate the holiday season late with your Significant Other and still make it memorable and special.  I personally want a memorable and special first Christmas with my significant other and sometimes we can't always get what we want when we want it, and that's when we sacrifice and compromise.

Not only that but I did a Google search and found out I'm not alone in this, in the sense that I'm not the only one who celebrates Christmas late. Although my reasons are because of the differences in family values and opinions and not financial, but it still sheds light that if you celebrate before January 6th its still not considered late.

http://www.usatoday.com/money/economy/story/2011-12-17/delayed-christmas-weak-economy/51924600/1
The part of this article I like the most is thus:

Postponing Christmas Day, originally a Christian holiday to celebrate the birth of Christ, is almost unheard of in some circles. About 95% of Americans celebrate Christmas — including 80 percent of non-Christians, according to Gallup polls.

But Bruce David Forbes, author of "Christmas: A Candid History," says those who delay Christmas festivities can take some comfort in the fact that Dec. 25 isn't the date of the birth of Christ.

When Christians started celebrating his birth in the 300s after the Roman emperor Constantine converted to that religion, they didn't know the birthdate, so it appears that they picked a day to coincide with Romans' midwinter celebrations of their own gods. Meanwhile, Christians in more eastern countries, like Turkey and Greece, were already celebrating on Jan. 6.

So, Forbes, who teaches religious studies at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, says if you're celebrating anywhere between Dec. 25 and Jan. 6, "you're not even doing it late."

So, I'm still hurt about being rejected at Christmas, but you know what there's a reason for everything and it's still not too late to celebrate with my man even if it has to be after Christmas.

Now comes the question how do I celebrate Christmas after Christmas? What Activities do I incorporate into the full day that we will be together?

The Things/ideas that I want to do is thus:

Baking Christmas Cookies! I know this will be a late Christmas but who says we can't bake Christmas Cookies after Christmas! Its a home only activity and can be very fun for couples to do together.

Making Dinner Together! Again Making dinner together for yourselves for Christmas is an Awesome way to spend time together. You can make whatever you want but it doesn't have to be a fancy turkey dinner like you just had on Christmas day. It can be as simple as Chicken and rice Hot dish and setting up Christmas Candles, and eat by candlelight.

Exchange Gifts! This Economy sucks I know and maybe we can't afford gifts but if that is the case, a hand made gift can be great too. I make things all the time, and I think it would be cool to make my BF a winter hat that he can use :)

Scrap Booking! I got this idea from a website. When you celebrate Christmas with your significant other you want to make memories with Each other. That is the whole point of the Holidays. So Why not get a bunch of Pictures of you and your significant other from through out the year or the last few months you have been together and put them in a scrap book. You can write down quotes and put on stickers, even write a letter to each other about how each other feels. Also put in all the little or big memories about each other.  Then when one person is down in the dumps or when you get angry at each other you both can be reminded of how much you love each other and remember the awesome times you spent together. :)

Watch Holiday Movies! Ok after dinner is made and cookies are made you can sit and relax. Watch your favorite Christmas Movies! Some of my All time Holiday favorites are Home Alone 1 and 2, Prancer, The Santa Clause 1 &2, A Charlie Brown Christmas,  The Polar Express,  Elf, A Christmas Carol, Jingle All The Way, A Christmas Story, How the Grinch stole Christmas, Jack Frost, Miracle on 34th St, and The Nightmare before Christmas. Pick a couple that you would really like to Watch and watch them. I really love snuggling up and drinking hot coacoa and watching movies.

Go Outside and Play! I know this is a bit childish but you know what? Our inner Child also needs to be acknowledged at this time of year as well. Our most favorite memories of Christmas is from our Childhood so go out and make a snow man if you live in the wintery snowy areas of the world. Go have a snow ball fight, and make Snow Angels. It's also a great way to burn some of those extra calories after eating so much holiday foods. Also, Take lots of Pictures!

Plan a Ritual or spell and do it together! For those of us who are Pagan Yule is about celebrating a solstice, one where we celebrate the birth of the Sun and how it will now get longer days instead of shorter days. So burn incense, Chant, and do all the things you do for a Ritual of Yule. Honor the Sun's return and pray for a renewal of faith if it is needed or do a spell for it because even though its the darkest time of the year it is also about rebirth and renewal.

Disclaimer I know Christmas isn't a pagan holiday, but in order to appease Christian families I feel the need to celebrate it in addition to yule, because its a holiday I grew up on, and it still holds a place in my heart. I also  kind of look at it as another way to celebrate Yule since Christmas is Technically a pagan holiday in disguise anyway.

My Witches Bottle

Ok so I decided to do a Witches Bottle, but I altered it a bit to fit my purpose. Here is a website that will describe what it is so you can make your own. Witches Bottle

So this is what I did. I have a friend who has a kid and so I asked her to rinse out baby food jars so that I could use them for herb storage and such. But instead its been sitting in my room for awhile now going unused. I had an argument with my boyfriend about something and its my fault and I realized I needed cleansing. I took a cleansing shower, and since my parents are going to be gone for a long while I decided to turn the tv off and meditate cleansing every negative feelings or energies I had and let them be washed down the drain while burning myrrh incense or frankincense works good too. Then I decided to cleanse the whole house. I called upon the elements air fire water and earth, (in that order) casted a silvery circle around the house in my mind and asked them to help protect and cleanse my house during this ritual. I started smudging the whole house in sage incense. Then I had this thought to do a witches bottle.

My bottle is more to keep the house cleansed. I put in it an amathyst stone, a red banded agate, a piece or quartz crystal, a banded blue agate, and an earthly green colored stone that I have no idea what it is, but I put it in there for its earth energies. I put in it moon water from this past full moon, some of my pubic hair, and needles, then I put in black candle wax from the black candle I was burning to banish the negative/harmful energies that are in the house. I also put in a recently burned smudge piece of white sage in the bottle as well. I then asked for assistance from the elements and meshed my power into the bottle with thier's and their blessings. I said out loud,

I open my heart and my soul
To the Elements of life
earth, air, fire and water, spirit
I call upon you, to Bless this witches bottle,
infuse it with your power
so that all negativity and harmful energy
are banished and cleansed from my home
allow only positive energies to come through
and protect me from my parents negativity
In this time and in this hour
from this day forth
so shall it be!

I then imagined all the power that was raised and put it into the bottle, and imagined any negitity to be drawn to this bottle and once it enters the bottle the negativity with be cleansed and banished in a cycle. I then hid the bottle in the northern part of the house so that the earth energies from the earth can help and keep the cycle grounded and going.

I altered it to fit my needs at the time. My parents are very negative people. They are always yelling at me and making me feel bad about myself and they also make Each other feel bad as well so I hope this bottle spell helps me to protect and guard against their negativity and so that positive energy is flowing in here and negative energy is not.

Full moon eclipse

http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs51/f/2009/328/4/b/Selene___moon_goddess_by_dreamsofkate.png

Ok so last night was the full moon, and it was a lunar eclipse. I decided to do a moon ritual, turning water into moon/eclipse powered water. I live in a cold environment so there is two ways this can be done. First if you are in a warmer climate, you can put water out in a wooden or ceramic bowl and let it charge overnight in the moon light.

Or the 2nd way that I have found to be just as effective is invoking the goddess, holding it up to the moon and asking her "Bless this water for me please with your power charge it with moon/eclipse power" If she is properly invoked you will feel her power channeling through your body and into the water. I made 4 bottles of this moon water this way and I can feel the power that is in these bottles of moon/eclipse water.

I called the 4 elements to protect and watch over the ritual, I prayed to the moon goddess to thank her for the light she brings every month. I thanked her for her contributions to nature. I asked if I could invoke her and she said yes and so I invoked the moon goddess and then said a simple moon magic spell over a crystal that I wanted to empower, then made the water. When I was done, I thanked her for the moon water and charging my crystal.

Then when I went to sleep I had a dream last night I was talking to the moon goddess. I don't remember what was said but all I know is I saw a goddess like figure with white silvery light that felt like the moons energies. She was talking to me and I to her about something. Like I said, I don't really remember what was all said, I just remember seeing her and hearing her voice. It was an interesting night I tell ya.

Drumming and Updates

Ok so last night I joined a Drumming group in a spiritual community/church thing. It wasn't a Traditional Church that you'd think of. It is a community church that is for people who are spiritual and into magick and metephysical studies, however, its energies seemed more Native American. To the Anishinabae people, Drums were very sacred to this culture. Drums are a very magical tool to raise energy as well as call out to the spirits. Last night was definately proof of that because I saw Native American Elders dancing and being called by the drums while I was drumming. It was awesome that they joined our healing and celebrations experiences. I found it an amazing experience and my friend who took me to it, we plan on going as often as we can. I really wanna feel this again especially feeling the Elders delight in our drumming and I could even hear them singing. They were singing soo loud I thought people must be crazy not to have heard them. My friend heard them too.

One of the things we did that was kind of cool was a shamanistic Journey. We would be drumming while asking our spirit guides questions and getting answers. My spirit guides told me some much needed lectures about how I should take more pride in my accomplishments. They asked me, If I don't believe in my accomplishments, how can others believe in them or believe in me if I don't first believe in it myself? It got to me. It really did. I been hearing these thoughts for a long time but I never believed them. After meeting my higher self and finally hearing these thoughts from whence they came, I started feeling a rush of courage and believing in myself. I asked them about grad school, and they said yes, you will get there, the time is coming soon so you better hurry it up and to believe in my abilities and in myself. They said I have come this far, and go farther if I keep trying. I wanted to stop punishing myself for what happened in the last few years. They told me to stop allowing others to set me back from my purpose, that you know what you need to do, get it done!

Anyway Id just like to say, the reason there aren't very many blogs the last couple of months because my computer broke and I haven't been able to get on here much. It broke right after halloween and so I haven't been able to write about my Samhain experiences. It was awesome too, but the time and place for that has passed. I plan on writing about it next year so don't worry it will be up eventually.

Licid Dreaming

Ok so I am a very lucid dreamer. I lucid dream at least once every night. I think its supposed to be one of my powers or something. But anyway, I had this dream where I was living in a house down town Minneapolis. I was in High school and was very pagan. People knew that and one of my Christian Friends decided they wanted to convert me. So they arranged to break into my room while Im sleeping, I woke up in the dream hearing voices of people but not understanding what they are saying. I thought it was a ghost so I bolted up right and what I saw horrified me.
Any magickal books I had, including non fiction and fiction, were gone, My artwork I have been working on with artistic nudes and pagan symbology were gone, and nearly all my alter supplies were gone. Also Any DVD's or Movies that had a sci fie fantasy theme to it were also gone. I was hurt and enraged.  I cried and cried and then I noticed the Christians were outside waiting for me. So I went out in angry sobbing tears and told them off. I went on a rant that how can I be a devil worshiper if I don't even believe in the devil in the first place, etc etc etc. Asked them all these tough philisophical questions they didn't understand or didnt know the answer to. A couple of people felt sympathy and compassion and tried to calm me down but they kept on saying "jesus will take away all pain. etc" and I just got angry again and ranted philisophical debates.
Some felt compassionate and sympathetic but at the same time they just kept on talking about Jesus. I told Them this was wrong even in the legal sense and that you must leave my property! They wouldnt leave so I go in to call the police but on my bed there was a packet of reciepts and notes about what they did with my stuff. They burned my books, Sold my DVD's for money and gave the money to the church, They took my art to an art professor at the university and the professor wrote a note saying that my art was indeed trashy and that they burned my paintings and drawings, and sketches, they had donated any alter supplies to the church to be cleansed of evil, etc etc etc. I was even more destraught and I started crying again and wanted to go on facebook and send an angry blog/letter to all those who were involved, thats when I woke up physically in my room.
It had felt soo real and so vivid and the strange thing is, the timeline was messed up like had a hint of past present and future. Cus the house I lived in, in the dream and the way everyone was dressed up, it was taking place in 1970's and yet theres all this modern technology that wasn't in the 19'70's. I woke up feeling angry and sad, but then I realized that everything was ok and realized it was just a dream. A very real feeling vivid lucid dream. I shrug my shoulders, ask the goddess to help me sleep better after writing down the dream in a dream journal.

Merging with Higher self

Ok so last night I was gazing into my Quartz crystal. I wanted to meditate so I figured Id fix myself on the crystal like I would do on a candle flame. Once my Consciousness shifted I was in a field that was warm and sunny, and with all kinds of flowers all around. The wind combing through my hair. It was peaceful. However, someone had approached me. I had instantly known it was my higher self. She looked different, appeared to me as this mystical Goddess with lovely tattoos and power emanating from her.  She was telling me about herself and that we need to merge. I was scared, I don't know why I was scared but then she touched me and I was at full peace with her. She told me I was ready and to not be afraid. She proceeded and merged with me. I felt a huge rush going through me as I felt the power rush in. My whole body felt warm while laying on the bed and my sense heightened. I felt whole, and complete and loved like I had never felt before. It was good and strange all at the same time.  After coming back I still felt warm and good, and happy and felt completed.

Samhain poem/prayer

Last year I had found this prayer/blessing/poem,  When I first converted to pagan I used this right before my first spell. I was new and this poem helped to start celebrating Samhain more traditionally.  I used it as more of a prayer/poem than a spell. I had tweeked it last year. This year I hope to composite my own Samhain poem/prayer/spell instead of borrowing from other people's spells and rituals and such and tweeking them.

The Samhain Spell
The following 'spell' is a modern Wiccan composition.
Be unafraid of Shadows dark
And to their whispers
Do Not Hark
Unfriendly words
You do Not hear
No worry, trouble
Loss or Fear
No Shadow falls
Upon your Heart
We Stand Together
Though Apart.
We Stand Together
Ever Winning
All our spells
Together Spinning
For Every End
A New Beginning
Wealthy, Healthy,
Happy, Free
If this your Will
So Mote It Be!
(Maurice of Coventry Greens, 1994)

That was the original. My tweek is more for a solitary practitioner. It is a little bit shorter than the original.  I worded it thus;

Be unafraid of shadows Dark
and to their whispers
Do Not Hark
Unfriendly words
I do not hear
No worry, trouble, loss or Fear
No Shadows fall upon my heart
I stand Strong
Ever Winning
For Every End
A new Beginning
Wealthy, healthy, Happy Free
If this is your will so mote it be!

Tarot Cards

Ok so I decided to get my first deck of tarot Cards. I orriginally have Angel Oracle Cards and I really would like more clarity in readings so I thought that maybe I should Try tarot. People say it is a life long process... Well maybe it is. If it is, I am eager to learn anyway and will take the time to learn. I already have a natural ability to see things but what I see is the bigger picture without the details. Id like to learn to develop my gift more and to tune into the fine details. The Tarot Cards I think will be a good tool for me to use to learn to practice it.

For my first deck I decided to get The Vision Deck. I like photography and a lot of color and stimulation. I felt this Card deck was calling my name when I first looked upon it. It is coming in the mail hopefully soon. I am really excited to get my first deck of tarot and start practicing with friends for fun. Me and my friend sometimes gets together and do card readings just to see what we can see with our oracle cards. She has faries and I have angels so I am hoping she wont mind me doing tarot on her. I plan on getting Tarot of the Cat People at some point too. They are calling me as much as The Vision deck.

In any case I am so excited. I am making my very on tarot card bag for it. It's going to be awesome and I am excited to get it :) The only downfall is... I just hope it doesnt get stolen in the mail. My roomates think we have a mail thief in our nieghborhood. I hope not. I want my tarot cards :(

I also found a website that teaches the basics of tarot in an online free class. It's really awesome :)

Sings "Im soo excited, I just can't hide it....dodododododod"

Ok so this a reposting from my blog on Wiccatogether.com but I have had my tarot cards for like  3 days now and I am in the process of learning tarot. Its a way different process than I thought it was and its actually not as easy as it looked. However, I am starting to get the hang of it. I just have to adjust my thinking a bit. Last night I wrote down like 26 different spreads from people and places on line and have been trying them but for some reason my cards like to mess with me a bit. I keep asking about one thing and then they pop up with something completely different and I am so confused. Then I realized it was talking about my past and how there was a lesson in the past I needed to remember so I don't keep falling in the same trap, and its a bit disheartening because I asked a specific question totally not related to what the cards gave me. It is hard to see with them. I don't think the cards trust me yet.

Anisinabe Wisdom, Knowledge, Power and Prophesies.

So I have been researching my Ojibwe culture thinking I may find some answers to some questions I have in regards to spirituality. The thing I find most interesting so far is the distinction of Knowledge, power, and wisdom.
One of the things the Ojibwe culture has pointed out to me was that knowledge was intune with wisdom and not power. Today people Classify Knowledge as power and I am starting to think that is wrong. Our western society is about power, control, and domination/expansion (however you want to phrase it). Knowledge can be about power but those who use it for power I think has the objective to want to control and dominate and use power to their needs and objectification. Where as the difference is the Old Genuine Ways of many indigenous peoples across the globe believe that Knowledge goes together with Wisdom. The more Wisdom you have and the knowledge to back it up the more connected you are to mother earth or female diety you choose. The difference is the people who decide to use knowledge to gain wisdom instead of power, you get people who practice humility, who respect not only the earth but also the gifts the earth gives us, as well as the wisdom to think things through before acting, respecting elders and authority figures, knowing when to speak and when not to speak, and to know that patience can be well rewarded.

People who use knowledge for power don't have the wisdom to know how to use that power correctly without corrupted principles. Absolute Power corrupts Absolutely and I think that is what is wrong with society today. Many people have allowed themselves to delve into the illusions of Power without understanding wisdom first, and go with true morality. From what I hear and remember from past lives, the most powerful people were ones that were wise and kind and it just wasn't because of their Spiritual gifts but the ability to grow wise with those gifts and not use power for thier own motives but to help their people. Either by contacting dead ancestors or healing with all the herbs earth that provides for us already. The only problem is I do believe Earth is dying because of what man has done to the environment due to wanting power, control and a high social status to do whatever it is they want to do without much repercussions. That is another discussion for another day. My point is that the old ways incorporates a wisdom that is being lost to generations and that knowledge isn't supposed to be about power.

"Western civilization, unfortunately, does not link knowledge and morality but rather, it connects knowledge and power and makes them equivalent. Today with an information `superhighway' now looming on the horizon, we are told that a lack of access to information will doom people to a life of meaninglessness -- and poverty. As we look around and observe modern industrial society, however, there is no question that information, in and of itself, is useless and that as more data is generated, ethical and moral decisions are taking on a fantasy dimension in which a `lack of evidence to indict' is the moral equivalent of the good deed." - Vine Deloria

http://www.real-dream-catchers.com/prophecy-protest-principle/the_s...

Most importantly there is the 7 teachings of the Anisinabe (Ojibwe) people. They are as follows:

The Seven Teachings of the Anishinaabe
(The People-- the Ojibwe, the Odowa and the Potawatome)

Honesty
To achieve honesty within yourself,
To recognize who and what you are ,
Do this and you can be honest with all others

Humility
Humble yourself and recognize that
No matter how much you think you know,
You know very little of all the universe.

Truth
To learn truth,
To live with truth, and
To walk with truth,
To speak truth

Wisdom
To have wisdom is to know the difference between good and bad, and
To know the result of your actions

Love
Unconditional love to know that when people are weak
They need your love the most,
That your love is given freely, and
You cannot put conditions on it
Or your love is not true

Respect
Respect others, their beliefs, and
Respect yourself.
If you cannot show respect,
You cannot expect respect to be given

Bravery
To be brave is to do something right
Even if you know it's going to hurt you.

http://www.positivefuturesguide.com/free/7teachings.html

Why is morality seen as fantasy? I think these 7 Ojibwe morale principles could enhance lives. Also there are a lot of people out there who need these lessons in their life. Not only that but in none of the 7 teachings is there a lesson on gaining power for yourself. Then there are the 7 prophesies that I think should be made note here because it basically describes the history of the Anishinabe people. The only one that has not been fulfilled is the very last one where I think we are in the process of fulfilling as we speak.

The Prophecy of the Seven Fires
according to The Mishomis Book by Edward Benton Banai

The Sacred Megis of the Ojibwe
The megis is a cowrie shell, very sacred to the Ojibwe.   Through the megis Creator breathed life into all beings.

Seven prophets appeared to the people.  The First Prophet told the people that in the time of the First Fire they would leave their homes by the sea and follow the sign of the megis.  They were to journey west into strange lands in search of a island in the shape of a turtle.  This island will be linked to the purification of the earth.  Such an island was to be found at the beginning and at the end of their journey.  Along the way they would find a river connecting two large sweet water seas.  This river would be narrow and deep as though a knife had cut through the land.  They would stop seven times to create villages but they would know that their journey was complete when they found food growing on the water.  If they did not leave, there would be much suffering and they would be destroyed.  And they would be pursued and attacked by other nations along the way so they must be strong and ready to defend themselves.

The Second Prophet told them they could recognize the Second Fire because while they were camped by a sweet water sea they would lose their direction and that the dreams of a little boy would point the way back to the true path, the stepping stones to their future.

The Third Prophet said that in the Third Fire the Anishinabe would find the path to the lands prepared for them and they would continue their journey west to the place where food grows upon the water.

The Fourth Prophet was two who came as one.  The first told them to expect a race of people who had light skin.  The future of the Anishinabeg would be known by the face the light-skinned people would wear.  If they come in brotherhood there would be a time of wonderful change.  New knowledge would be joined with the old knowledge and the two peoples would join to make a mighty nation.  Two other nations would join to make four and they would become the mightiest nation of all.  If they brought only their knowledge and their good-will they would be like brothers.

The second being of the Fourth Prophet warned the light-skinned race might wear the face of death that would almost look the same as the face of brotherhood.  "If they come carrying a weapon and if they seem to be suffering, beware.  Behind this face is greed.  You shall recognize the face of death if the rivers are poisoned and the fish are unfit to eat."

The Fifth Prophet said that in the time of the Fifth Fire there will be a struggle between the way of the mind of the light-skinned people and the natural path of spirit of the many nations of natural people.  "As this fire loses its heat there will come among the people those who promise great joy and salvation.  If the people accept this promise and abandon the old ways, the struggle will continue for many generations.  This promise is false and it will nearly destroy those who accept it."

The Sixth Prophet told them that in the time of Sixth Fire it would be clear that the promise accepted during the Fifth Fire was false.  "Those who were deceived by this promise will take their children away from the teachings of the elders.  The elders will lose their purpose in life and many will become sick and die.  Many people will be out of balance and the cup of life will become the cup of grief."

The Seventh Prophet was younger than the others who had come and there was a glowing light from his eyes.  He said that there would come a time when the waters had been so poisoned that the animals and plants that lived there would fall sick and begin to die.  Much of the forests and prairies would be gone so the air would begin to lose the power of life.*  The way of the mind brought to the red, black, and yellow nation by the white nation would bring danger to the whole earth.  In this time there will arise Osh-ki-bi-ma-di-zeeg, a new people who will emerge from the clouds of illusion.  They will retrace their steps to find the treasures that had been left by the trail.  The stories that had been lost will be returned to them.  They will remember the Original Instructions and find strength in the way of the circle.  Their search will take them to the elders and the new people will ask for guidance.  But many of the elders will have walked the Path of the Souls to the Star Web.  Many elders will have forgotten their wisdom and they will not be able to help.  Some of the elders will point in the wrong direction and others will remain silent because of their fear.  Some of the elders will be silent because no one has asked them for their wisdom.

If the New People will find trust in the way of all things, in the circle, they will no longer need the selfish voice of the ego and they can begin to trust their inner voice.  Wisdom will be once again be found in dreams of the night and of the day.  The sacred fire will once again be lit.  The Light-skinned People will be given a choice between two paths.  If they choose the right path the Seventh Fire will light the Eighth Fire and final fire of  brotherhood and sisterhood.  If they choose the wrong path, remaining on the path of the mind, then the destruction they brought with them will come back to destroy them.  The people of the earth will experience much suffering and death.
http://www.real-dream-catchers.com/prophecy-protest-principle/the_s...

I think this last prophesy has been happening and is still in the process of occurring.  I think the reason many people are going away from the church these days is so they can find their way back to the oldest traditions. This includes Celtic and druid magick, as well as ancient Native American ways. This is important because I believe people are trying to come back to the basic 7 teachings of life and re-find the inner wisdom that was once lost by Western civilization.

Updates and Native American pulls

So I haven't written much lately because I have been busy and haven't really had the chance to write more spells or make things. Until today. I made another dream catcher. I made one for my boyfriend for is birthday this weekend, and I made it out of a twig. I can't post  picture due to a malfunctioning camera. I am hoping to buy another one.

I have gotten a new job and I am super excited about it. I think for the first time in my life I will be able to live out on my own after 6 months of getting paid and working on getting out of debt. I am very excited about this so I been doing research, and I'm hoping to start getting things in motion.

Then lately I have been researching Ojibwe culture because I am part Ojibwe. I have been wanting to find a system that works for me and I am starting to feel close to the Ojibwe culture. While growing up I went into secondary culture class because my dad and my grandma are/were registered Ojibwe Native Americans.  I grew up learning about the medicine wheel and the old ways but I was also brought up Christian. It was always fun making things but back then I didn't understand what exactly I was being taught. I took the teachings and pushed them in the back of my mind when college started until these past few weeks. Over the last year I have had dreams about myself and Native Americans. I have seen totems in my dreams, I have seen myself as a medicine woman, I have seen a bear moon as a bear on a moon, as well as a dream when I was younger and dreamed of sacred animals. which my animal totem is a bear. I have had others but I don't remember them at the moment. I have been reading up on the ojibwe prophesies and there is one where it has yet to be fulfilled. The last one is about people coming back to the roots of spirituality and being guided by spirit instead of with the mind. Or something like that, and that humans are going to destroy themselves if they don't get back in tune with mother earth and father sky. Also there will be leaders who help humanity into a new age. I think maybe part of this prophecy is going to happen in 2012. There are so many different prophesies about 2012 that in a way they are all the same but yet all different at the same time. I do believe something is going to go down in 2012. Humans are in for an awakening.

But anyway my point with this is, I feel closer to my ojibwe haritage as I review all the things I learned as a child, such as the ojibwe medicine wheel. I looked up pictures of it online and I remember the real medicine wheel looked a lot different. It was in a cross not in an ex and yell was in the direction of east. Red, direction of south black direction of west and white direction of north. Some of the pictures get red and yellow mixed up or black and white mixed up on the opposite sides of the wheel and I'm like WTF! This is all wrong! I'm a little angry about this. Because this is misrepresenting a culture and a way of living. Your mixing up the wrong directions with the wrong colors! how dare you! Aside from the appalling misguided representation of the medicine wheel iteself, I have also been learning about the vast horrors of what they did to the indigenous peoples from 1850's to 1970's and the boarding school system of taking children away from parents and putting them into abusive situations. Everyone thinks the white way is better but yet why is it that every time the white culture invades another country or culture there's always more death than there should be? Even today it is happening and our president is Black! Shouldn't he know better?

Why can't we create a more peaceful world? Humanity is corrupted by their own minds because they can't listen with their heart or their spirit. The rich worry about profits and are greedy, where the poor worry about when and where they will get their next meal from and are needy. Then the people in between want to help balance the social herarchy but they cant because its all about power and control and domination. WTF? How are we ever going to evolve if we can't even get past this belief system? Then Christians wonder why so many people are leaving the church in pursuit of finding their own way to spirituality?

Well the Church helped create this world too and Christianity is what influenced the white men. Oh they must be 'savages' because they don't believe in god! we must save their poor souls before they go to hell! We must do that by beating them and taking away everything they hold dear! Because if we don't God forbid we will be stricken down by the hands of God himself!. Gee wiz. Now isn't that just ridiculous? Nobody really needs saving unless they choose to do bad things. Sex is apart of nature so it is not a sin. Magick is not a sin because Jesus did it too. And most importantly God doesn't Hate GLBT, Blacks, Native American Indians, or Asians at all. God doesn't hate anyone or anything. If this Christian God exists, he doesn't hate in general or is not supposed to according to the bible he is all loving and merciful and yet people kill in the name of God because we are supposed to hate what God Hates? Screw that! The real sins of this world is murder (in every brutal way possible including all types of holocausts), rape, neglecting your brothers, sisters (we are all brothers and sisters) and neighbors (we are all neighbors) who are in need of help, or not speaking up the truth when speaking the truth matters most.  The thinking is you can't help them all but if you help one or two people a day it will cause a ripple effect and I think everyone could get the help they need eventually if someone just takes the time to be compassionate and empathetic. Native Americans looked after each other in way our current society does not. Sorry this is ranting. Wasn't going to rant but I did.

Discliamer: I do not hate Christians. There are many Christians who see this and choose different paths or know it is wrong and I am glad of that. I also know there are many open minded Christians who do not judge that way and this rant isn't intended for all Christians. It's meant to ask the questions that need to be asked about Christian History and how they shaped the world since 1400's when Columbus "discovered" America and the Native American Holocausts began. I am just merely saying that it is because of such power/control thinking from puritans and the early denominational churches that first colonized and settled here. Maybe back then they had the best of intentions and felt that what they were doing was right, but obviously its so wrong and many have learned that lesson but there are still others who have not.

Another thing I have been looking into is ojibwe cultural meaning of the dream catcher and what is traditional v.s. today's version. I have found lots of interesting information on the story of the dream catcher about how the Anishinabe people's spider spirit/goddess couldn't look over all the children during the great migration, and that a medicine man/ seer got a message to make a spider web dream catcher and that it will protect the children until they can find the island that looks like a turtle. I really like that story. Dream Catchers in n essence is a protection symbol like the cross, and the pentagram. I like a lot of the stories I been finding that teaches morality to children. There's all kinds of gifts ojibwe people have. There are those who are born to be warriors, medicine men/woman, wise elders, and those that can phophesize, and those that can see spirits or be more in tune with the spirits. Most importantly they were all equal. Their professions didn't make one person better than the other and women were treated with respect. The cyle of life and the earth was treated with respect. While now the earth is dying by human pollution and digging up all the fuel and oils we can. I hope this world lasts long enough for the domestic integration of wind energy and solar panel energy. That could help a lot.. sorry Im ranting again.. I guess I am ranting. My more educational blog about Ojibwe Native Americans will come some other time. For now I'm going to shut up before I end up ranting 50 more pages. Later all.

Herbal Remedies for Reproductive Health!

Some of us women have lived with irregular cycles all our life and possibly it effects our fertility. One of my issues is I normally have irregular periods and a lot of times I feel I have an unnatural cycle because when I do get my period I don't bleed as much as some other women do. I feel menstruation is a part of womanhood, and part of magick. Sometimes I wonder what is wrong with me? Maybe nothing but I have been doing some research on herbal remedies, dietary supplements, and various causes and conditions.

Some research I have found, however is about Herbal teas, and herbalism.  These herbs found in general to help menstruation cycle normalize. I got this information at sisterzeus.com. Basically it is describing Emmenagogues and which herbs are Emmenagogues. It says thus: "Emmenagogues are substances which have the ability to provoke menstruation. They can work in a variety of ways, but the end result is menstruation. Its action can be mild or strong depending on the herb."

The list of herbs that help with fertility and regulating the cycle are as follows:

Mild Emmenagogues:
These include Parsley, Ginger, Yarrow, Feverfew, Rosemary and Sage. For more information on these herbs

Medium Strength Emmenagogues:
Parsley, Queen Anne's Lace Seeds, Black Cohosh, Mugwort, Juniper.

Strong Emmenagogues Include: Several of these herbs are also listed as abortifacients, which I have given a page of its own. You can find more information about these herbs there.
Pennyroyal, Angelica, Savin, Rue, Tansy, Asafetida, Blue Cohosh, and Vitamin C, celery seed, birthwort.

Uterine Contracting Herbs Include:
Herbs with Oxytocic properties
- these herbs induce uterine contractions by stimulating oxytocin.
Blue Cohosh, Cotton Seed/Root, Angelica and Marijuana
Herbs containing Thujone Thujone is a volatile oil found in several plants known to be a uterine stimulant. Anyone with a tendency toward epileptic seizures should not use herbs containing thujone.
Tansy, Mugwort, Juniper berries, Chamomile.
Misc Uterine Contracting Herbs These herbs have unique properties which cause uterine contractions:
Angelica Root, Blue Cohosh, Ginger, Parsley, Pennyroyal, and Rosemary

Herbs which Stimulate the Uterus This is desirable to aid in dislodging the fertilized egg.
Angelica, Black Cohosh, Ginger, Horseradish, Queen Anne's Lace Seeds/Root

Herbs which contain Estrogenic Properties These herbs can cause estrogen-like side effects including abnormal blood clotting, liver problems and aggravate estrogen-dependent tumors
Black Cohosh, Blue Cohosh, QAL, Pomegranate seeds

Antispasmodic Herbs The abortive properties are believed to possibly result from the relaxant action on the uterus, causing inhibition of movement to such an extent that an abortion occurs.
Black Cohosh

Implantation Inhibiting Herbs These herb interfere with the implantation of a fertilized egg, they are generally used after fertilizing intercourse until menstruation is due. For more information Herbal Contraceptives & Implantation Inhibitors
Cotton Root, Juniper Root, Queen Anne's Lace Seeds, Vitamin C, Rue/Rutin.

These herbs are mainly to Induce Menstruation early, and if taken in moderation probably could help normalize cycles, however, beware that some of these can be toxic. Too much can cause serious problems in health. I suggest following the doses that are recommended by a herbalist.

One herb that I have found that normalize cycles and are good for promoting reproduction health in general is Raspberry leaves:

"Raspberry leaf (Rubus species) is a member of the Rosaceae family. The leaves are rich in the important minerals calcium, magnesium, and iron.

Raspberry leaves have been regarded as a universal herb for women. They have been introduced to young girls beginning their menses as a welcome ritual to help them through their changes. Raspberry leaves can help alleviate menstrual cramps, reduce erratic food cravings, and curb excessive bleeding.

Raspberry leaf tea has long been used to increase fertility. Pregnant women in China, Europe, and North and South America have all used this herb as a tea for a wide range of female health concerns. Even pregnant cats have been known to seek out the leaves and eat them!

When used during pregnancy, raspberry leaves help to relieve morning sickness, prevent spotting, and improve blood quality thus preventing anemia.

Besides being consumed regularly during pregnancy, women often drink raspberry tea during labor. This is because raspberry leaves contain an alkaloid called fragarine, which is said to make labor easier due to its effectiveness as a tonic for the pelvic muscles and uterus.

When taken after birthing, raspberry tea facilitates placental delivery, helps decrease uterine swelling, and helps prevent postpartum bleeding. Drinking raspberry tea until the time of birthing is so nutritious, it helps to ensure that the colostrum (the first breast milk) will be especially rich. However, it is not used excessively during lactation due to its astringent properties that can decrease milk supply.

When menopausal women use raspberry leaf, it helps promote healthy uterine tone and minimize hot flashes"

Herbs are a great way to get the vitamins and minerals your body needs in order to promote reproductive health. However sometimes Reproductive issues is also a result from a manganese deficiency.

"Manganese activates the enzymes responsible for the utilization of several key nutrients including biotin, thiamin, ascorbic acid, and choline. It is a catalyst in the synthesis of fatty acids and cholesterol, facilitates protein and carbohydrate metabolism, and may also participate in the production of sex hormones and maintaining reproductive health" (http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient&dbid=77)

So Basically getting more Manganese in your diet can be a way to help normalize mensuration as well. Some foods that I have found, at the same source up above, are mustard greens, kale, chard, raspberries, pineapple, romaine lettuce, Collard Greens and Maple Syrup.  (http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient&dbid=77).

Again Rasberries come up! I think it is clear that Raspberries are good for your reproductive health! Anyway another way to get plenty of Manganese is to take Multivitamins that are specified for a woman's health. An example is One a Day Woman's.

Another recent finding is Motherwort herb. It can induce menstruation for late periods, however it is also a herb for heart health and for depression. It acts similar to hawthorn berry's in the sense it goes to your nervous system and you feel a little sleepy. Note I am not a herbalist but I am studying herbalism on my own. The reccomended doses I have found through research is one teaspoon of motherwort in boiling hot water. Drink when it cools. However it is more effective if you combine Motherwort with Basil (which is a cooking herb that is also good for menstruation) or organic Raspberry leaf. Who says you can't combine all three? Also Motherwort is fairly powerful so do not take while pregnant. It can be taken during labor to ease labor pains or after labor but not during pregnancy.

Also another disclaimer, I know these methods might not help everyone. I know there are severe cases where these herbs probably wont do much good. I am sorry if that is the case. This is to help those who can benefit from herbal remedies instead of birth control to regulate menstruation.

Vitamin C, B1, B2, and B6 are also vitamins that are needed for a healthy reproduction system. If you are lacking in any of these vitamins, it might cause menstruation issues just like any lack of Vitamins can cause lack of nourishment.

Anyway as for me I have been on and off drinking Raspberry leaf teas. I don't really like tea that much but I am going to try and drink it more regularly to see if I get any results.

My Homemade wand

So I decided to make my own wand. My friend had cut down a bunch of trees and bushes in his yard so I decided to make something of the wood. I thought a new wand would be good. I did it this full moon weekend so I gather its probably a pretty powerful wand.

So how I made this wand goes as follows: First I cut off the part of the branch I wanted. Then I stripped it of its bark and wood diddled it down to the size I wanted with a girl scout swiss army knifeI got when I was like 8. It was pretty sharp.

After that I then sanded it to make it all nice and smooth. Once sanded I cleaned up the shavings and the saw dusty wood specks off of the stick. Then I looked up how to spell my name in runes and burned them into the wood with a small wood burner tool. Also I put near the tip, the runes Id like to corporate into my daily life. Then drew the pentacle on there last.

The last step of my wand was to stain it and put finish on it from the color I wanted. I tainted my wand a red oak color. However, I didn't read all of the directions so I had like spots on there that are darker than others, and some of it partially erased the runes but the wood was still indented and can still see it. The final pictures of the product are down below.

Hawthorn Berry

Hawthorn Berry is a herb that has many uses. According to this website it states:

Used to promote the health of the circulatory system, treat angina, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure and cardiac arrhythmia and has been found to strengthen the heart. Hawthorn is widely regarded in Europe as a safe and effective treatment for the early stages of heart disease and has been used for a number of ailments including angina, myocarditis, arteriosclerosis, nervous conditions like insomnia, and diarrhea. It has also been indicated for strengthening blood vessels, vascular insufficiency and blood clots, restoring the heart muscle wall,
lowering cholesterol and to aid digestion.

I picked up some Hawthorn berry at the herbal shop for magical purposes, because its good for firtility for its magical uses, but I may start taking it for medicinal purposes as well because heart disease runs in my family. Probably since I don't have heart disease yet, probably take it weekly and not everyday. Who knows maybe I can get my mom to take Hawthorn berry herbals because she has a lot of issues with her heart and blood pressure. Instead of taking a million pills she only needs to take one or two of the hawthorn berry, or drink tea.  Same with my dad. I intend to get more hawthorn berries to see if it will help out my parents live a little more healthier.

Crossroads.

First thing is I wrote a blog about Mastering anger at blogspot back in April. I have been trying to figure out the inner source of my inner anger issues which has some how been passed down from my past lives, as well as this life. I was told once that if you dream or remember certain aspects of past lives more than others that it means there are still past life issues unresolved, and some how have to come to terms and move on from them in this life. The past lives I remember have nothing but pain and anguish in them. After all I have been murdered brutally, Raped brutally and murdered in another, Had been forced to watch my children die and get murdered themselves, or even kill others in the fight for survival in my warrior days, and even burned at the stake. I know I had good lives too but they are fuzzy memories. I am a very old soul, and I am angry. My humanity doesn't understand why I had to go through these things. I know it was for a reason and since I believe these lives were mapped out before I was even alive in them, I don't understand why I would subject myself to such brutality. I have been hurt so much and through so much and I am just tired. I am angry because I feel the world's cruelty and the weight of it on my shoulders, and yet helpless that I can't do anything about it. The world I know is not in my hands, it belongs to the Gods and Goddesses of this plane of existence.

Which that very same thing leads me to the next part. The crossroads part I should say. I have a desire to help others. but yet I am artistic, and good with arts and crafts. I also learn fast and know that I can do anything I want to do. When I was Christian, I felt that God's will for me was to become a psychologist or a counselor. I didn't get very good grades, and I wasn't very passionate with pursuing that goal. It also doesn't help I was hurt in college really bad by my first love, and felt alone and isolated from everyone I knew because I went out of state for school. I have an interest on the theories of psychology, and in learning to understand how and why people think, and behave as they do, but I am already a natural at that. Why do I need to go through all this research and training to do what it is I naturally can do?

In any case, the part that gets me thinking is I am not Christian any more, and I fully realize what it means to have Free will. If that path was something that I was really meant to do then why is it that I feel I should be doing something different? Something that will drive my passion to work for what it is I really want to be doing? The most important question is also, What is it really that I want to do?  Psychology and being a counselor may seem like the right thing to do or seem like the best way to be helping people but who says it is the only path? What is it really that I want to do with my life that will make it meaningful? Does it really mean I really want to help people?

Does that also mean my life decisions based on my past religion no longer valid? Why am I still searching for these answers? I am 24 going on 25, shouldn't I already know the answer to that? Also what if I just exist for the sake of existence?  I am talented, strong willed, stubborn, courageous, and have so much potential to make my life the way I'd like it to be, so whats stopping me?  I think what's stopping me is that I don't have any idea what I really want from life.

Book of Shadows- home made

So I created my new BOS for when my other one gets filled up. Only got maybe 30 pages left. This is how I did it.

I got creative, I didnt have all the traditional tools like a crafting hole poker thing (awll) so I used scissors instead to poke the holes in the paper. but in any case Im getting a head of myself. I improvised a lot of the instructions on this website http://www.ehow.com/how_5476214_make-own-journal.html?fb_ref=like&a...

But in any case I measured the size that I want and my parents usually burn cardboard and paper. It just so happened that the swans man came this week too so there were boxes of swans food and the boxes were really thick. Thick enough for a hard cover and binding. So I cut the cardboard down to size plus cut up a bunch of paper to size.

Then I poked the holes in the paper and sewed the paper together. Then I put two strips through the bindings to hold the paper in place and glued the flaps down onto the cover. Then I decorated it accordingly.

So there is my new book of shadows. Made out of card board, but looks store bought lol :P I am sooo creative! Also since I made it, it has been calling me to write in it but I must wait until my other physical BOS is used up.

Protection from harmful spells

So every once in awhile you might piss someone off due to making mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes, we are only human after all. Unfortunately there are a lot of big heads out there who think they can do anything they want to someone without their consent. Those who have big heads and consider themselves more divine than you, may or may not try casting spells against you. One they cannot cast something without your consent, if they do they themselves will generate bad karma from it. Also if they do and you feel it working, please take action immediately.

Someone tried to cast a binding powers spell on me just because I pissed someone off. However, I apologized and did everything I could to rectify the situation, so why this spell was cast on me I have no idea. But to purposefully cast a binding powers spell to exact revenge is considered a harmful spell. Anyone who does something to hurt another for whatever reason is against moral standards. There is only one way someone can bind your powers and that is if you know about it and have a good reason, like if you were to go crazy and bringing harm to others through your magick, and/or if you were just too powerful and you needed to repress your powers until you could handle it. I have a friend who needed to do a power repression spell because she is just too powerful and cant control all her powers. It happens sometimes. one thing is for certain they thought I was a super newb, newbie that they thought I wouldn't figure it out, and might have felt it was for my own good.

Lets say you figure it out? what do you do. Well I made this spell return the spell that was cast. You do all the necessary prep work for it though. I'm just going to write the incantations. You may change things how you like, or add components but this is what I personally wrote.

Return this spell to its owner,
return it back 3 times fold,
let karma take its toll
so that no one is harmed
if this is your will so mote it be.

Then imagine any energy that is not your returning to the source.

If the spell partially worked and your powers feel half way bound, or weaker than normal, I also wrote a restoration spell for it.

Restore my memory to the way it was,
let me remember who I am,
and where my powers come from,
and restore the power that was lost,
Unbind the powers that were bound,
so harm comes to no one,
If this is your will so mote it be.

Well you may need to alter this one to fit your situation but when the spell was casted on me, I felt I was forgetting who I was and my purpose on this earth. That is why I also did a restoration memory thing in the beginning. Depending on the situation you may not need that part.

Then the last thing I created was the protection spell against harmful spell.s

Protect me from harmful spells,
let no magick  or spell penetrate this shield without my consent,
those who attempt to harm me through magick or a spell
return it to its owner three times fold
so that no one may be harmed,
If this is your will, so mote it be.

Then imagine a huge shield around yourself and imagine spells bouncing off and returning to its owner.

In any case only use these spells to protect yourself. Some people are just immature and think magick is going to solve all their problems when it is not. Like with the above situation.

Silver RavenWolf Books pt 2

Ok, so after some events, I feel I am no longer a silver ravenwolf fan. I have nothing personal against her but I realize why I am so confused on wiccan theology and lets just say it is because Ravenwolf doesn't have accurate information. I still don't mind her spells as examples of how spells are constructed but that's about it.

My Journey Part 2

So my real name is not Neveah Jasmine. It is an alias designed to
protect my real identity. I don't want my real identity to be known due to the vast dangers associated with the internet.
This is an extension of my journey. To update about the changes I have made in the last few months.

In july/august of last year I started get dreams about demons attacking me as well as me attacking them to kill them or banish them. Id wake up feeling drained, and have physical evidence in the morning that I had fought something like bruises appearing out of randomness. I'd cover myself up in order to hide it. Then as I kept having them I started remembering that I had those dreams when I was little. One demon dream was so bad that I had been paralyzed and couldn't move when I woke up. I submerged myself in research, first starting with the Gnostic Gospels. I used to hold some Christian values and teachings when I first started out, and called myself Gnostic Christian. Got a hold of gnostic texts. I then did some research Wicca, druidism, and started rereading my old notes in high school on ancient Native Americans, since I was part Native American I had a secondary culture class and they taught other ancient ways of looking at things. I should have taken the hint back then but my parents negative influence did not help any. But in any case I learned to cleanse through Native American Techniques that seemed to keep negative/harmful dreams away. I made a dream catcher as well. And during this time I was really scared of my dreams. When I started on my path, I felt I was waking up finally from a bad nightmare. I felt like I had a new sense of purpose, instead of walking blind like I had been for years. I felt rejuvenated and started to ground myself in who I was. I started accepting what I really believed in, and that is Magick, and that there was more than one God. But I do admit my education isn't in depth. I have only looked at the basics of things to try and figure out what was going on with my dreams.

However, today I don't follow much of any Christian theology. I have been trying to purge myself and cleanse myself of those values that were thrust upon me by my family. To change everything is hard, especially getting rid of the duality notion. I still hold the duality notion but I don't consider things to be evil or good, just a matter of light and darkness, and basing things on intent, so its complicated. Still don't fully understand how there is no duality in Wicca. I understand more of the yin yang philosophy and the balance of light and dark, Life and death notion, and the other things the yin yang stands for. Reason why right now I can't choose a specific path to follow because I have too many complicated and mixed beliefs from many different religions, and I don't think I need to choose right now. I just enjoy using magick, creating and using spells, creating energy balls to play with and using my gifts to help others.

But in any case I did figure out that there is tons of negative energy being produced by my family, and my powers were awakened before I was ready so I had to cram everything and its all a big mess in my head, and those demon dreams are from my gift of sight and my medium abilities I think, well most of them were anyway. It was showing me that I needed to wake up, and cleanse myself, and start anew. However, Still cant explain the demon possession/death dream that left me paralyzed and cold as ice in the morning. That one still puzzles me, but Its not something I really want to fully understand or tell what the dream is right now. I hope to keep learning and find out new stuff about myself and to keep practicing magick.

The first spell - letting go of a past lover.

on October 31st 2010 I had cast my first spell. At the time I was still trying to get over my ex. It took me about a couple of weeks before I felt comfortable to try and cast a spell. The date was obviously Halloween or what pagans like to call  Samhain. I decided to try a letting go of past love spell on myself. After all it was a new year for pagans so I thought what a great way to welcome the new year by letting go of my past love and moving on into a new year. I basically did a simple candle spell. However, I ran into an issue. my alter at the time sat right below my fire alarm and burning stuff made it go off so I had to end things quickly. But anyway here's the spell.

Write on a piece of paper the name of your past lover/boyfriend etc,
Light a white candle
Chant this while you set the piece of paper on fire and put it in the culdrun to burn

"Godess help me to move on and look towards the future and to let go of the past lover.

I let go of (insert name here) in my heart.
Allow healing, learning, and growth.
A new beginning this year,
Refreshed and ready to love again
So none may be harmed,
if this is your will so mote it be"

Then after let the piece of paper burn to ashes, Then toss the ashes outside on the ground or in the wind.

Blood Magick- fertility spell.

So I have been researching about blood Magick, mainly because lately, due to a females reproduction hormones, I have been curious about menstrual blood magick. Mainly in the use in fertility rituals and spells. A few days ago I even wrote my own fertility spell. Which is a very taboo subject in Fluffy Bunny, white magick only, guru's. Blood Magick in general it is not always about sacrifices or about evil. In many ancient cultures, they practiced blood magick for protection, fertility and binding people/objects to you. It gives a ton of extra power to what you are doing because blood is associated with life and death. Most people when seeing blood think of death and destruction and darkness.

However, people forget blood is also what keeps us alive and therefore is a powerful life force, and is believed to be mainly about life force in many different cultures (ancient and/or modern). Blood has it's own element.  However I do not promote binding someone to you. In some ways that is messing with free will and messing with free will gives really bad Karma. Also blood magick is very very powerful. Do not use unless it is absolutely necessary. Like with all magick there are consequences and can be used for good or for evil. My intent is always about good.  It can be done as an additive to any ritual or spell you cast, except for money and success spells. I read somewhere it wont work for those type of spells. Not only that but you should only use your own blood, and not someone else's. If you do use someone elses blood depending on the ritual or spell that needs to be cast, they need to be giving it willingly and not be forced victims.

Anyway a reason why this is such a taboo subject, is because there are a lot of bad people out there who probably used blood magick for evil. Such as Charles Manson and the Manson family. They did what is known as bloodletting which is basically letting people bleed to a certain point and then closing the wound. I don't know what sick twisted rituals were preformed with bloodletting in Charles Manson's family of insanity, but I heard it was pretty dark and twisted. That is something that is not right. Anyway I just thought Id comment on that.

Anyway as for my Fertility spell, the reason why I thought of it is because I know I may have reproduction issues in the future, and I know I want kids. I love kids and children and babys, and I want to conceive someday. I still am going to need to do all the medical treatments I need for my condition, but in order to help along in the process I decided to create a fertility spell using menstrual blood, and yes my own menstrual blood.

The herbs to be used or can be used are nettle leaves, rasberry leaves, rose buds, red clover, ginsing, and mistletoe.

The main incredient however is menstruation blood.

Basically what you do is mix up rasberry leaves, rose buds, gensing, mistletoe and also any other herbs you wish to add to it. Sprinkle some of the herbs around a green candle and save some for a sachet. The best way I think Id like to aquire menstration blood is to use a piece of gauze or cotten ball or something. Purify the blood and cleanse the energies with myrrh oil. Then put it in the sachet and bless it. Then put remaining herbs in the sachet, then put the satchet in the middle of the circle of herbs and in front of the candle.

Burn the green candle  and chant:

"Godess (of your choice) Mother earth, hear my plea,
Cleanse and purify my body so that it can carry life.
(Imagine cleansing yourself and opening the pelvis chakra. Imagine good female/menstral health)
Menstral blood, life force of the unborn, I wilingly give,
Fertility herbs, the power to ready my body for new life,
green candle the color of earth and life,
Let life grow inside when its willing and ready,
Do this so that no one is harmed.
If this is your will, so mote it be"

Then channel all the energies in the satchet and Imagine yourself pregnant. Imagine feeling life growing inside you and your desire for life and children, until you feel the spell is completed. Then do the closing ritualistic things, and then either you can carry it with you at all times, or Put the sachet under the matress that you sleep on or make love on, while making love to your husband/spouse/partner, or you can put it inside an easter egg and decorate the easter egg with symbols and runes of firtlity and put it in a window. Best time to do this would obviously be the full moon during spring, but can also be done at any time during the right moons phases and possible during a certain day during the week.

Also note: if you wish to add a stone or something to the satchet too during the assembly process, Rose quartz I think are the best for channeling fertility spells. There might be other stones but it is up to you.

Anyway that is my fertility/health spell and a little information on blood magick.

New Additions to the alter

So I have a new dagger, quartz Crystal geodes, and a small vial of myrrh oil. I got these for fairly cheap. Cheaper than most cult stores would sell in MN. The geodes were 3 dollars each or two for 5 bucks and they were fairly large.  They protect and heal and absorb energies.  The dragon dagger is really nice to have because now I got something to really cut stuff with like herbs and candles. Very nice and got that for only 13 bucks. I thought it was awesome. When I saw it. I felt it calling to me. :)
